Mahak Agro Concern Pvt Ltd, based in Sudal, Bhaktapur, produces and sells honey under the Mahak Maha brand — certified by Nepal's Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DFTQC) and following HACCP food safety standards. The business sources its honey from over 300 bee hives across Nepal's mid-hilly regions and serves both domestic and international markets.
Challenge
No direct online sales channel: Customers could only buy Mahak Maha honey through local retail and wholesale relationships, with no way to order online.
Trust signals buried in paperwork: DFTQC certification and HACCP compliance existed on paper, but weren't visible anywhere a new customer could see them before buying.
Limited reach beyond Nepal: The brand wanted to serve international buyers but had no storefront that could take an order or payment from outside the country.

We designed a WordPress storefront built around the brand's certifications and sourcing story — a shop, an about/process section, and a gallery — with a structure the team could maintain themselves.
