Awesome Handicrafts is one of the leading felt manufacturing companies in Nepal, producing a broad range of hand-made felt products crafted by Nepali women artisans using indigenous techniques.
Challenge
No direct sales channel: Finished felt pieces could only be sold through in-person and wholesale relationships, with no way for individual buyers to discover or purchase products online.
Wholesale and retail on one channel: Bulk wholesale buyers and individual retail customers needed different ordering paths, with no system to separate the two.
Craft story wasn't visible: The artisan story and indigenous technique behind each product — the brand's biggest differentiator — had no place to be told online.

Discovery & planning
We reviewed how Awesome Handicrafts currently sold to retail and wholesale buyers to understand where a custom site could serve both without duplicating catalogs.
Solution design
We designed a custom-coded site built around the craft itself — a product showcase that carries the artisan story, a buy-order flow for individual pieces, and a separate path for wholesale supply inquiries.
